The windharp: A mound of earth, grass-grown, about 12 meters in diameter and 4 meters high. You enter through a narrow tunnel and find yourself in a round wooden room in the center. In the dim light, you notice a hollow stone on the ground, filled with water which drips from above. Up there, above the basin, is a small round opening. Metal strings are stretched from side to side. You can hear a constant drone from the wind.Project and realization: Martin Voßwinkel Photographic documentation: Wolfgang Wiggers
The windharp was built in 1991 and existed for one year. After that time, the soil was removed and the wooden room was burned.
