From a series of 20 prints 13*18cm. The photographs were processed with sulphur toner and afterwards tinted with albumin retouching colors.

/ L i c h t h a u s -B r e m e n -1992 /

An art symposium in a workers office of a closed shipyard in the harbour of Bremen. The building stood vacant for several years. I took some photographs of the various installations and to depict the decay of the building, I used spoiled developer and left the prints in water for several days. Bacteria and fungi did a good job giving the pictures a unique staining.
